FMCSA Suspends Unified Registration System Requirement

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has suspended its rule requiring freight forwarders, motor carriers and others under FMCSA jurisdiction to submit required registration and biennial update information to the Agency via a new electronic on-line Unified Registration System. During this suspension, entities needing to file will follow the same procedures and forms used to submit information to FMCSA as they do today.
