Does Luggage Have Wings? Possibly! CBP Finds Bird’s Nests in Traveler’s Luggage
U. S. Customs and Border Protection specialist at George Bush International Airport seized 30 birds nest from a passenger’s luggage. The items that were seized, were prohibited from entering the U.S. as they can carry Newcastle Disease or the H5N1 virus. The passenger was assessed a penalty for failure to declare prohibited agriculture products and the birds’ nests were seized.
