Goods and Services Eligible For Importation Released

Cuba Sanction UpdateThe Department of State issued a press release in regards to the policy changes announced by President Obama on December 17, 2014 regarding Cuba trade. Section 515.582 of the Cuban Assets Control Regulation (31 CFR Part 515) authorizes the importation to the United States of certain goods and services. The goods whose import are authorized by Section 515.582 are produced by independent Cuban entrepreneurs that are imported into the United States directly from Cuba, except for goods specified in certain sections of the HTS.
